Sustainability, simplified

Your regulator, your customers, your auditor and your export markets each ask a different question. One record, kept current, answers them all, so the work you do keeps paying you back.

How far along is your sustainability work?

01What is driving this

Four things bring people to us

A regulator with a deadline. A customer with a questionnaire. A standard your leadership has adopted. A border that now prices carbon. All four ask for different views of the same underlying data. Capture it once, from day one, and when the questions come you already have the answers.

A legal obligation, already running

In the United Arab Emirates, Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024 makes Scope 1 and Scope 2 reporting a legal obligation, submitted through the national measurement, reporting and verification framework. It is an annual duty, not a future one.

In practice the work falls to operations, facilities, procurement and health and safety rather than to a dedicated sustainability function. The data usually exists already, in meter readings, fuel records and purchase orders. What is missing is the boundary, the emission factors and the structure. We set those once, so the same figures answer the regulator, your customers and your own leadership.

Your buyers are being asked, so they ask you

Your customers are being asked for emissions data, so they are asking you. A supplier programme wants figures at product level, a ratings questionnaire wants policies and targets, a procurement portal wants a certificate, and a certification body wants the evidence behind all of it.

Answered one at a time, every request is a project. Answered from one structured inventory, each is an export. We structure the data so it can be cut to whichever format is asked for, with every figure traceable to the record behind it.

The standards are settling into one language

Sustainability standards are converging. IFRS S1 and S2 are now the international reference, GRI is aligning to them, and the GCC is moving the same way.

Leadership wants a framework it can stand behind. An auditor wants one it can test. Those are now the same framework.

We are licensed across IFRS S1, IFRS S2, GRI and SASB, measure to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and build modules to UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024.

Your carbon travels with the goods

More markets are putting a price on the carbon in what you sell them. Europe already charges on the emissions embedded in imported goods, starting with heavy industry such as aluminium, steel, cement and fertilisers, and other governments are building the same thing.

Wherever it lands, the question is the same. Not a company total, but the emissions in each consignment, which means a product level footprint with the production data behind it.

Clean power you have already paid for, and material sourced close to the plant, count for nothing until they are measured. We build the inventory once, then answer each market from it.

02How we work

Two ways we work

Each is complete on its own. Together they put you in front sooner.

Services

Sustainability strategy and reporting

We work out which standards apply to you, what is material in your industry, and where your gaps are. Then we transfer the knowledge so your own team can run with it.

What we deliver

Platform

The Simplii Sustainability Platform

One record of your data, kept current. It produces the disclosure, the questionnaire answer and the benchmark position.

03Applied AI

AI that shows its work

Two roles, and they do different jobs. The first, One AI, takes in the files you already have and turns them into records. The second, Simplii Genius, answers your team’s questions about how a standard applies and where a figure belongs. Both work from the same knowledge base, and both leave the decision to a person.

In

What comes in

  • Your files Workbooks, reports, minutes and spreadsheets, read by One AI.
  • Your systems Oracle, SAP and Dynamics, mapped field by field.
  • Your people Guided forms, entries as they happen.
The record

One record

Kept current all year.
  • IFRS S1 with SASB’s Sustainable Industry Classification System
  • IFRS S2 with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol
  • GRI
Structured once, for all three.
Out

What comes out

  • Answers, from Simplii Genius How a standard applies and where a figure belongs, citation attached.
  • Reports, drafted by the platform An executive summary, a regulator’s submission, a customer’s questionnaire, the annual report.
One button, whichever audience asks.

Automated Read, structured and drafted without keying anything in.

A person signs it off Nothing leaves without approval.

The same record answers an executive summary, a regulator’s submission, a customer’s questionnaire and the annual report.
Day one

Start with your data in it

Send us what you already have. A folder of workbooks, reports and minutes becomes draft records, so you begin populated rather than empty.

Year end

Reporting in days

With the data captured as the year happens, the platform drafts each disclosure section from the same record and your team reviews and signs it off. One button, whichever audience is asking. A report comes together in days.

Grounded

It shows its source

Every answer is drawn from your own documents and the published standard, with the citation attached. Nothing is asserted without a record behind it.

Logged

It is auditable

Every prompt is logged with the user, the tenant and the cost, alongside the data change it produced. An AI assisted figure carries the same chain of custody as any other.

04Track record

Programmes at national scale

National programmes, market infrastructure, federal government and heavy industry. Every one came down to the same two outcomes: the data brought under management, and the reporting produced from it.

Engagements are described by sector rather than by name. References, including a government entity reference, are available on request.

National programme

Environmental remediation, Canada

Stakeholder engagement and data management on one of Canada's largest environmental remediation programmes, with the reporting that went with it.

Federal government

Applied AI and sustainability data

An applied AI and sustainability data programme delivered for a department of the Government of Canada.

Market infrastructure

A national exchange investor platform

Delivery of a large scale sustainability data installation into a financial exchange's investor platform, providing daily updated performance data on listed companies with screening and analytics for its users.

Research consortium

Carbon capture and storage

Stakeholder engagement and data management across a multi party carbon capture and storage research consortium.

Industry

Multi year reporting programmes

Several years of sustainability data brought under management for an energy producer and for a data centre services provider, through to their annual reports.

Research

Sustainability analytics and modelling

Research carried out under national research council grant funding, producing two published papers on sustainable investing.

05Credentials

What we bring

Standards
Corporate licences for IFRS S1, IFRS S2, GRI and SASB. We measure to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and work to IPSASB SRS 1 for public authorities.
Governance
ICD.D, Institute of Corporate Directors, Rotman School of Management.
Benchmark
A licensed database of more than 90,000 listed companies, each mapped to its industry under SASB’s Sustainable Industry Classification System. That mapping defines the true peer group and the financially material topics for each industry, so an organisation is measured against the right peers on the right metrics. Comparisons run at issuer level, by industry and by geography. Results are shown only where enough peers report to make the comparison credible.
Method
A published fifteen step guide to sustainability disclosure, used as the spine of our training.
Bilingual
Arabic and English, with terminology drawn from the official Arabic translations of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2.
Practitioners
Delivery, training and change, and compliance and audit, led by people with more than twenty years each.
In-Country Value
ICV certified. 7 Centre Middle East FZ-LLC, registered in Dubai Internet City Free Zone. Trade licence and ICV certificate available on request.
