7 Centre and 7 Centre Middle East CEO Seajay to present at 2025 Global SME Summit

Davos, Switzerland – Sept. 4, 2025 – Tanya Seajay, CEO of 7 Centre, will be a featured panelist beginning today at the 2025 Global SME Summit: The Power of Small, taking place September 3–5 in Davos, Switzerland.

Seajay will advance the #90PerCentChallenge, a campaign founded on the recognition that SMEs – who account for nearly 90% of businesses worldwide – must be fully engaged if sustainability goals are to be achieved. Too often, smaller businesses lack the resources, visibility, or tools to participate in sustainability reporting, despite serving as the backbone of global supply chains.

“The majority of sustainability reporting platforms today are designed for the largest 10 percent of global enterprises – companies with reporting teams, investor pressure, and compliance systems already in place,” said Seajay. “The reality is that the remaining 90 percent hold most of the data, risk, and opportunity when it comes to sustainability. They are essential to achieving climate goals, regulatory compliance, and supply chain resilience. That’s why we created Simplii: to close the gap and address the 90 percent challenge.”

From Dubai to Davos, Seajay is carrying forward this message: SMEs are indispensable to the future of sustainability, but their impact depends on being connected to the large enterprises they supply. To meet global goals, the smallest vendors must be able to contribute data that rolls up into enterprise reporting – ensuring their voices and contributions are visible and credible.

One example is Simplii, 7 Centre’s sustainability data management platform, created to make reporting simpler and more accessible across supply chains, bridging SMEs and large organizations into one connected system.

Seajay will join two panels at the Summit: Innovating at the Speed of Change, which will examine how SMEs can align product development with emerging trends to future-proof offerings and drive sustainable growth; and Leadership and Inclusivity, which will explore how authentic, agile, and purpose-driven leadership – rooted in inclusivity – can shape sustainable success.

The #90PerCentChallenge Leaders’ Program will officially launch in October at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, recognizing the first enterprises in the Middle East to step forward and take on this global challenge.
